I have a problem. My web developer insists that their Websphere v3.5 can only produce referer logs seperate to the main web logs.
In my (limited!) experiance, a web log is typically:
User IP| Date/time| GET statement| refering page/key words
The seperate referer logs I am getting from Websphere are just:
Date/time| refering page/key words
I have tried about half a dozen web log analysers, and none can seem to understand this file.
My developers tell me their version of Webtrends can, although I tried Webtrends and it couldn't read it either.
Anyway - the question is: "Can it be true that WebSphere cannot produce a single log file with referer information appended to each line as in a typical log file?"
I can't believe this is true, but this is what I'km being told.
If it is true, can anyone point me to how I can get a log analyser that can read this file! (I didn't really want to get Webtrends, but I might have to).
Thanks very much.
