I have a webserver on my network , anyone know if there is anyway to generate stats on people who connect and what pages they look at and how long they spend on the server.

We use a software called "webtrends" made by netiq. It generates the stats automatically.

Yes, webtrends is great and easy to use. They have some very good reports.
It's also possible to connect OLAP-tools (Cognos) to create flexible reports.
