One of our sites bears the same name of our E2K server domain (gastonassoc.com). Hence our internal DNS gets confused when an internal user tries to view this site. All other sites viewable internally through firewall. How can I reconcile an internal & external domain which is identical? Thanks, Fred Gaston

Manually add a new host to the internal DNS server which points to the external servers' ip address. You can call it whatever you like such as or internet.yourdomain.com it really doesn't matter since it will only be "known" by this name from the internal network.

Thanks Coolclark. Would I add as name server, since can't add fully qualified domain name as host & alias can't accept IP address? Fred
