Hi,

Our website is hosted by another company. When my database get's updated(the one on the host companies server) I would like to automatically update the database on my server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks..Russ

What type of database is it?

If it's a SQL server, and there is no firewall preventing the two from connecting to each other, you could schedule a job to replicate the information.

This is an access database and there is a firewall

Thanks..Russ

Get your front end on your machine.

Create a web folder that has a drive mapping (assuming you have the bandwidth) and link the front end to the live database the you don't even need to replicate as everything is live...

Sorry I'm a little slow here on level of experience.
Can you explain in a little simpler terms what you mean by drive mapping?
Also is this secure?

Thanks for your help..Russ

Hi,I have an opposite problem. I need to automatically schedule an upload of a table from an access database to the database on a website hosted by an ISP. Is this possible, and how? Thanks in advance.
