Hi All,
I want to be able to rank my data to display only the top 10 results.
I've been told to add a dimension to the universe (which I can do) however I don't know what to add.
We are using Oracle 9i.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Tom

To elaborate on this topic:

Rank(), Dense_Rank() , RowNumber() are known as OLAP functions and are introduced with ORACLE from 8 versions and higher / DB2 version 7 and higher.
A very good reference on the subject can be found in Graeme Birchall' s SQL cookbooks. These are primarily focused on DB2, but apply on ORACLE as well..

XI R2 can do these rankings right in the query panel. Very cool!
