Hi, How to setup an enviornment where we have WebI on unix and Publisher on Windows(i think we cannot have publisher on Unix). I am using BO Enterprise 6.1a suite. Any suggesstions on setting up the environment.

Thanks

It should be no problem at all. Set each up as standalone environments. Each will have a .key file that points to the right repository.

In fact, I'm pretty sure you can have Publisher without having WebI.

Publisher does now require INFOVIEW for the creation of the publications. And when running on Unix you need to have an NT node for BCA and the BCA Plugin.

Make sure you set create 2 servers in parameter administrator and set the roles according. This will be covered in the documentation running websites on unix is one of the key features of publisher 6.x
