Hello all,
Can anyone give me any info on how to authenticate a Webi session via LDAP?

Thanks
B

Which WebI version for first ...

There is a rather unuseful document on BO's site, but generally it's feasible (and I have done it) using SDK.
Easier if you are on Unix.

Please note that a first post with all details would have saved a lot of time.
Put up integrated auth and have your webserver authenticate users against LDAP.
With SDK you can even write a custom schema to store a copy of repo settings and fake user profiles

Pabloj... you are right..sorry. I was actually in the process of laying out all the details when you responded. Thanks for your help. In case you still want to know, here are my specs:

Web portal server:
IBM RS/6000
AIX 5.2
4x650
16gb
Apache 2.0

We have 2 WebIntelligence WebLogic Application Servers that are load balanced via Cisco's CSS.
AIX 4.3.3
6x500
32gb

These servers interface with the Webintelligence Server via WIBean.jar using wibean.orb.properties. The webi server is:
IBM,7026-6H1
4X600
32gb ram
running WI 2.7.3
AIX 4.3.3
