When accessing the Web Subscriber Logon page I am prompted for extension, playback extension, and password. When I enter the required info a password reset page opens. When I enter the old password and then the new one twice a message appears (The password is not well-formed). Can anyone Help me with this???

It is telling you that the password does not meet the password length or complexity set in the VMSC. You need to use a password that is not the mailbox number or a string like 1234 try a longer password

I have the password options set to at least 5 digits and have disabled advanced password security. I still receive the same error message. I am puzzled. Also when I try to log in with TUI the system states that normal subscriber options are not available. Another new problem...

Normal subscriber options not available never heard of that. Sounds like the MSS is off line.

Or does it say normal access to your mailbox is not available? That would mean the MSS is off line or unreachable.

Message Server is Up

That shows the MSS as up but the MAS can't find it or communicate with it for some reason are you using a cross over cable or the 3come hub for the privet network?

What alarms are you getting in the admin log and in the app log on the mas

MSS failure - subscriber login failed! Reason: Connect time out.
Mailbox Number: 30410
IMAP4 Detail: The connection timed-out.
MSS Error:

This is the fax mailbox

Failed to connect to Victory Message server mss1 (periodic check failed!). Notifications of mailbox changes are not available from this server.

The voice server has failed to connect/authenticate to the peer directory server MSS1. LDAP error - Server Down.
This could indicate mismatching details in the trusted server configuration for this MAS. Check the IP address configured matches the IP address of this server and that the password configured on the MAS matches the trusted server password.

Well it sounds like the password has been changed in the MSS or in the VMSC under the security tab for LDAP. But it could still be that the private network is not working has the system been rebooted today?

sometimes on a reboot the password will get corrupted i would reset the password on both the MAS and the MSS and it should be able to talk to each other.
