We are currently running Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0 operating system with roaming profiles. We just installed Outlook 98 and 2000. I checked the box to leave a copy of mail on the web server and now the web server is resending messages multiple times. I can uncheck the box to not save messages on the server and of course that fixes the issue, however, I think there should be a way to do this successfully. We are not running Exchange server, could this be the problem? Has this happened to anyone else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Basically, yes--you need Exchange or other mail server on which to hold your mail.

If you leave a copy of the message on the server, it will download it each time.
