Web Server and RAID

Im building a number of new web servers for my organization and rebuilding some of the old ones. What is the preference for RAID on a web server. The web servers are all small and dont use alot of disk space. Most of the severs that are in production now are RAID 1 and they work just fine. Just wanted to know what other administrators prefer.

I think RAID 1 is fine if you are just running 2 hard drives. But if you have three I would go with RAID 5. Are you building you servers inhouse? If so what kind of chassis are you using?
