Web pages will not come up after removing Netscape?

I have a user that was user Netscape 4.7, we migrated her to Internet Explorer 6, when she receives an email from a certain company in the email is a link she use to just click on the link and Netscape would launch and the website be there. Now that we removed Netscape 4.7 when she clicks on the link nothing happens, is there a setting in Internet explorer that I can change to make it my default browser? Or is it something else?
