Gang,
Well...I may have screwed up. Just like everyone else who is conscientious about how their web pages print...after I installed IE6 & found that certain pages printed with their margins cut off on the right, I went into Page Setup & reduced the margins to their lowest default settings (.25" left & right, .7" top & .46" bottom.) Did the same thing on my machine at work.
Then...I designed a form in Dreamweaver MX for my company's website to that criteria. I would preview & print every so often to make sure the printed page was aligned correctly.
Now...the forms (which require the end user to print the form after entering the data, because the company requires a hand written signature) begin to roll in to the office with the right side of the page cut off.
So my questions are:
1) Since a lot of users don't change their default settings in IE, what are the default margins?
2) What would be an acceptable document width/res to insure this does not happen? I initially used 760 X 420 (800 X 600 Maximized) as the page size; & noticed that the doc is 771 X 334 (when maximized), but should I squeeze it up a bit on the vertical. I am assuming the users who are turning in the cut off forms have monitor res settings of 800 X 600, but I discounted default margin settings in IE.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
