Hi everyone,
I am new to weh site building and I would like to know how to host my own website. I am using windows 2000 server and I would like to do a couple of sample pages and allow my friends to be able to sccess it from their home computers. Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this or steer me in the right direction.
Thanx in advance

You will need to get a static ip from your isp. This is usually around $5.00 a month.

hey one question do you have a Leased Line or a dun Connection.

If dun then host it at your ISP

If Leased Line then setup IIS or get a web hosting app like proxy plus that has a build in web server.

Oh and you will still need a static IP address form you Service Provider
