Web client - problem with app display

Hi there,

I am having trouble with the application rtd on the web client for one user. He is able to access every RTD except the application display on one of his PC's (the other PC he has he can access everything). The error he is receiving is a network timeout error...however, we don't have this issue with other machines that he logs into. I have checked the IE settings and everything looks fine. Anyone have any suggestions?

Is he running a firewall on the pc that has the problem?

No he is not running a firewall on his laptop.

I have the same problem where it works fine on the machine but with the zone alarm 5.5 firewall it fails. How must the firewall be configured to allow the symposium web client to operate?
