Web client Application Performance display hangs?

We have Symposium 5 and Web Client 4.5. If the web client is used to report on real time displays the skillset and agent screens operate with no problem. However if a standard_apllication_display is attempted the screen hangs. It looks like it is going to load correctly but stops at the "loading data..." prompt. Not all PC's/laptops suffer from this but no known differences can be found.
Was advised when at a previous location where same problem existed that upgrading from SCCS3.0 and SWC4 to 5 and 4.5 would cure this isssue. This site was new install at 5 & 4.5 but problem exists here also. - Any ideas?

Double check your DNS and or WINS configuration. Make sure that you are connecting with the Web Client Server name, not the IP. If you have any name resolution problems correct them and test again.

Been there seen it done it. Have found that the PCs all had full client installed after having been set up for web client. Reprofiled the machines and started from scratch, loaded fat client first then set up for web client with SOAP etc and they seem to be working. Will let you know if they fail again. Thx

OK that took a long time. Skillset displays working but now agent and application displays are no go. Lasted one day!
