Web Buttons

The problem that i have at the moment is the following:

I am running Adobe Image styler to creat a Internet web button then saving it and useing Adobe Image Ready to add the actions to the button. The main problem is when i place it into the web page the button has a white outline on the page. How can i make the outline go away if i do not use white background on the Page??

I also have the following graphics packages if required:
PhotoShop 5.5,
Illustrator 8.0,
After Effects 4.0,
PhotoSuit II SE,
SteamLine 4.0,
Dimentions 3.0,

But i have not used these application that much and would not know how to do most things with them.

check to make sure teh button is as big as teh canvas u drew it on usually the whit is the excess canvas

um, I think in your 'saved optimized as' options in imageready, make sure your matte is set to none.

Layer Effects on spot channels P.Shop 5.5
Can layer effects be applied to spot colour channels?
DoesnÕt seem to happen for me, or is this one of ÒthoseÓ situations where film output from a postscript file will image OK with effects applied?

Art layers and color channels are commpletly different elements. Channels represent color density for the entire piece, layers are tools for building artwork. Most of the time I find Adobe will half implement certain features (ie. effects for layers and not channels) due to reaking possible havok down the line. Adobe only inserts features that wont harm other aspects of your peice. Oh, and start a new thread if your question is unique or you chance not getting an answer.
