I'm working with a PIX 501 running 6.3(1)

I'm doing just fine with the administration of the device, but my consulting partner really wants me to get the native webified admin tool working. I don't even remember what it's called.

What sorts of things to I have to have in place to admin this device from the inside via http/https?

Links to cogent articles would be fine.

Thanks,

ShackDaddy

You'll need to enable the http server on the pix aswell, use the http server enable command. then you'll need to specify which hosts can access that use the http x.x.x.x (ip address / subnet) y.y.y.y (subnet mask) command to set these. This will set you up, then you'll need to browse to the ip address of your PIX using https://
This all assumes that you have PDM on the box, if not you'll need to download the .bin file from cisco's website and then copy it onto your pix.
