2 - Switch Time profiles/Attendants using button or shortcode.

I think it has something to do with "UserID.ini"
It can be found in;
X:\xxxxxxxx\Avaya\IP 400\PhoneManager\Profiles

Never tried it with Phone Manager.....do I get half a star? A st ? Isn't there a profiles setting there for Phone Manager then?

i got an email saying there was stil time to sign up. but no confirmation.

they want people to trial the expansion cards so if we employ another 150 staff between now and then im in!

I did say think, as I knew Soft Console did but not Phone Manager. If you want to go off half cocked....that's your lookout :) I'll give you one of mine then :)

- send original caller id on twinning - SIP

- Multiple DTMF support on SIP

- Web access for users - simple changes - There is XML scripts available on the DevConnect site but if anyone has actually done the work, please share!

nat support for phonemanager and ip phones

removing the need for *0 breakout embedded vm

dial extension directly from embedded

compressed option for vm to email

multiple short codes for 1 button, e.g. Night/forward

Forward all incl HG for all HG Types

Overflow to User (virtual or real)

voicemail to multipe emails (without having a group broadcast)

BankHoliday time profile option in HuntGroup, not just ICR

I know peter, i have to test the 5.0 on our system at the office. On my home SOE i can't..:-(
I've seen the better handsets for IPdect they look good.
Don't know if those are only for 5.0

Just seen the News that Nortel are going down, their owners filed for US bankruptcy protection and they are sacking 233 UK staff straight off.

1. Hot-Pluggable everything. (modules, cards, etc..)
2. NO reboot needed for ANY programming changes, EVER.
3. Give digital 5420 /Eu24 receptionist a bigger dss option. 4424 w/4450 is a downgrade, and softconsole is just not a wanted option for some customers.
4. Make serial numbers viewable for all equipment through SS.
5. Make a 55xx digital phone series, use color displays, have more soft buttons available, not a bunch of arrow keys for screens, make them look sweet, full-duplex speakerphone, ringtones, customizable screen savers, etc...
6. Free rackmountable toaster and coffee maker.
7. Enhance Visual Voice for mutiple greetings.
8. Have personal speed dials follow the users, not stay in the flash storage of the phone.
9. Give CCC users a free upgrade to whatever NEW product you're coming out with to replace it.
10. Make an available Survivable gateway for remote offices that use IP phones, that will support a line for 911 access. (Multiech did this for merlin magix 4xx digital phone users.)

Have been testing some nice gateways at the moment, link to IPO via a H323 trunk, with local pstn (BRI/PRI/T1/BAS), and SIP register for local SIP phones.

Sound good?
