I am running SMS 2.0 and am trying to install the SMS admin console on an XP pro machine. I have looked up that I need to use the wbemperm tool located in the wbem directory off system32 yet I don't see it there. Do I have to load this from somewhere else. I imagine this is why I can't load the console in correctly?

All that utility will do is tell you rights to connect to the site server, it really shouldnt have anything to do with your ability to load the admin console.....something else is wrong here.
Is it that you can't connect to a site after the admin console is installed or that the console wont install?

I have the console loaded and I connect to the site but no information is displayed for example I click on collections but I get there are no items to show. Mayeb it's permissions? although i have added our domain admins to the local sms admin group but aren't there other security issues?
