Trying to force users through our proxy. I can set the proxy with a script that just places a user.js file in their profile that has the correct settings. But I'd like to also disable the ability for users to change their settings from within firefox through the options menu.

I would assume there is an option there as well too, but I could be wrong. Any info would be appreciated even if it is just someplace better to look.

While I can't give a direct answer to your question, I have a follow up for you. You or your network admin should be able to set your firewall to only allow port 80 or 443 (http and https) traffic from your proxy server. Then if they do not use your proxy they do not get internet access. They won't be tempted to change the setting.

Agreed, and that plan is in the works. Wish it was as simple as just doing it but when you throw 3rd party vendors and internal politics nothing is ever simple. But I imagine it is the same just about everywhere.
