I have installed an IP550 v2 6.1(5) system and the client wants to copy an wav file onto the system and play it whilst on hold. Were would i put the file on the SD Card?
Put it in the Pimary folder, if you call it holdmusic.wav then just set system music source to wav file. I think intigrant confused himself with queued announcments
We use the Avaya Magic-On-Hold device. This unit comes with an insertable usb stick which you can then place your music onto. We are using MP3's at 24 bit 44.1KHz. We have several albums ripped onto that stick and it works great.
i also had an issue loading the holdmusic.wav file on an IP500 v1 today. I was able to finally get it to take after making a secondary file, which it never even attempted to load just like the regular one, and then removing it and rebooting. really weird.
