Watermark now invisible

I have W2K with Office XP. I used to be able to see the "Draft" watermark but now I'm unable to. It's important because when people send me a draft I need to know that's it a draft. The Word file has the Draft watermark in it however I'm unable to see it. I used to be able to see it but now for some reason I'm unable to.

Any suggestions on how to get my ablitily back so I can view the light grey watermark?

If I change the color of the watermark I can see it so that's also strange. It's like the autocolor function of the watermark has broken...

check "Drawings"

Uncheck "Picture Placeholders"
