We have two remote offices connected through Firebox V10s and our main office (Firebox V60). Also, we have some remote users connected through VPN using Mobile VPN software (free download from WatchGuard). Everything is working fine for more than 3 years now. We had X700 before but switched to V-series because it has QoS. Although I think X-series will work just fine....

I have a customer who got VPN phones working on watchguard firewalls. not sure the models but they worked.

Update! Testing with a new Firebox X550e with Fireware PRO enabled software. Got a 5610 working on VPN - followed Avaya's tech tip for Juniper Xauth with Pre-Shared key version and adapted it to the WatchGuard. First day, so as more testing is done I will update.

one thing to keep in mind is setting the time for the VPN to re-key. make sure it is set for as long as possible.

Indeed, most of the time it is set to 3600 seconds wich is 6 minutes
After that 6 minutes you will loose speech !!!

We have set all of ours that are running on Juniper to 5 days. The issue is when that 5 days is up it rekeys and drops anything you are doing. It does not rekey fast enough to keep the speech up. it would be nice if Avaya could set them up so if you are on a call it will not rekey untill the phone is idle.
