Greetings,

Anyone ever got a PolyCom Video Conferencing Unit (h.323) working behind a watchguard firewall?

I can make the outgoing call, I connect, the other party can see and hear me, but I get blue screen and no voice on my end.

I've tried various combinations of NATing, the H.323 proxy on the firebox and even opening all ports. Nothing!

I'm most interested in someone who has actually got this combination working. Thanks

With many calls to WG, Polycom support, 2 different consultants (1 WG
and 1 Cisco), the Cisco consultant actually helped to get it to work.
Here is what I needed to do:

.118 external

.10 internal

On Watchguard:

Remove .118 address from Secondary Networks.

Create 1 to 1 NAT -> External .118 to .10

Create H.323 Proxy-IN -> Any External to .118

Create H.323 Proxy-Out -> .10 to Any External

Create Custom Filter -> Any External to .118

Opens ports: TCP - 3230:3243

UDP - 3230:3285

On Polycom:

Set Fixed Ports for the ports above

NAT config to manual

Set NAT address to .118

SET NAT is H.323 compatible
