I am in Access97 and have some essential reports that are opened in Print Preview. I really, really would like to know if the user actually printed the report opposed to just looking at it.

I can find no report property that might help me. This is to be an application that could find its way to any number of PC-Printer environments.

I'd sure be interested in any technique to solve this!

You may be able to do this by turning off the standard menus and toolbars and building your own Access command bar. You can then put your own Print button on the command bar. In the coding for this button add whatever code you need to identify that the button was pressed (update a database table, open a log file, etc.)

I'm sorry I can't help you create the command bar. I've never done one myself.
