WARNING: soreceive: unexpected message type x00000083

We have a SCO Openserver 5.0.7 server which is displaying the following error message, usually overnight which I can only tie in to the backup (over network)

WARNING: soreceive: unexpected message type x00000083
WARNING: soreceive: not M_DATA, found 131


On investigation using the SCO TA site, there is an article relating to this and I have carried out the following:

1. Applied Maintenace Pack 3
2. Updated existing Broadcom (onoard) NIC drivers (this is Dell Poweredge
3. Fixed Ports setting on switch and NIC to 100Mb Full Duplex

Problem still occured

I have now disabled the onboard Braodcom NIC and installed an Intel Pro 100S

Guess what ?? Problem still occuring.

Has anybody else seen this issue and managed to resolve

P.S. This issue does not seem to be causing any issues on the server

Thought I would also add that netstat -i shows no errors or collisions and netstat -m shows no failures.

I have also moved to a different switch

Are there multiple cpu's in this machine?

Faulty network cable ?

This is a dual CPU server

The network cable has been swapped out already, sorry forgot to mention that ;o)
