Controller event log: PD 00(e0x20/s0) is not a certified drive: Controller 0 Perc 6/i integrated

The Event number is 2335 and could not find any information related to my warning message.

I need assistance in translating this warning message. Just wondering if I should be concern with this warning message.

The Perc 6i is your RAID controller. Looks like it can't identify one of the disks in your array.

I'd be concerned.

After talking to Dell Support Team, they tell us that we shouldn't be concern with the warning message. The hard drive we purchased through Western Digital hasn't been certify by Dell Server Management.

I will be contacting Western Digital to ask them to get those hard drives certify. In the mean time, what that message tells me that Dell is not going to support us if we have any disk error. My plans is to have more backup disk and let the Perc 6/i controller rebuild the RAID setup.
