Not quite sure how well the sybject desribes my problem, but i'll give it a try desribing it better.

We have an DECT phone with the number 55555, which is used to contact the employees that know first aid.

They have asked me, to try and make it so that when sombody calls 55555 the call will automatically be transfrered to their cellular phones. Also they would like it to try all 6 numbers at the same time, and as soon as one answers the rest will broken off.

Hmm, does that make sense at all?

With hopes of good suggestions

Why don't you just use code pagers like Hospitals. You can get 5 pagers "coded" with several numbers. One of them would be shared with all 5 pagers. When that number is dialed all 5 pagers will go off at the same time.

You could have them all return a call to a number that plays a message when its busy saying that someone has already gotten through. If you wanted to use an ACD phone for that you could just check for idle agents in the queue and if there is zero play the message.

You can purchase several PCA licenses (I thought as of Succession Rel 3 but at least as of CS1000 Rel 4.0) and create some PCA type of virtual sets.
By these VTN's you can call several destinations associated with this 55555 number
REQ: new
TYPE: PCA
TN: ll ss cc uu
DES: F_AID
..
KEY 0 SCR 55555
KEY 1 HOT p d xx (where d = number of digits and xx is the desired destination)

you have to create one for every mobile.
As soon as the first one pickes up the other phones will stop ringing.

Ask your vendor, they will be willing to help you out here.

Thank you Supernn.

The PCA-licenses does indeed do the trick. But asking the vendor was no good. They had never heard of PCA. But after i talked them into talking to Nortel they came around to the solution and we are now setting up the VTNs

So once more, Thanks for a great great tip.

can you post your config please? I'm also trying to set this up but I'm not getting anywhere.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

In LD 15
REQ CHG
TYPE FTR
CUST 0
...
PCA on
TPDN 0

Then in LD 57 add FFC
REQ CHG
TYPE FFC
CUST 0
FFCT yes
CODE PCAA
PCAA *86
CODE PCAD
PCAD #86
CODE PCAV
PCAV *87

of course the FFC's are examples

Hi Again. We now have used PCA for a little while, and the users are very pleased with how the system works.

However, there are a little thing that still annoys me. When someone dials 55555 theire number is the one being displayed on the screen of the cell phones. Is there anyway to program the PCA to make it send a predetermined number as the callers number.

This way the users will be able to more easily detect when theres an emergency.

I hope this makes sense for you all, because my english skills leaves a lot of room for improvment.
