want to learn illustrator, all i know is photoshop

I have been using photoshop since 5.0 (or 5.5 cant remember). I have become very knowledgeable with it, and have never taken a class on it. However, I never had access to Illustrator, but would really like to learn it. I am in charge of the website where I work, and have found Illustrator to work better for much of the drawing I tried to do in Photoshop. If anyone knows of some good topics to focus on so I can teach myself this software, that would be great. The key points I want to learn are how to draw, make shapes, etc.

Try buying Illustrator "classroom in a book"
Or using the tutorial that comes with illustrator
