Want to know how a website stores information about my computer! 1

I tried to join a website and found that it will not let me join because it has some information that is different that I provide. How and where does this information get stored and whow can I change it? Thank you for any comments! Donguerra

Look ay the cookies on your computer - if there is one for that website - delete it

if you're running win98.....C:\WINDOWS\Cookies

Thank you very much for the reply. I deleted everything in history, personal history, and temporary internet files and the internet still said the same thing. Thanks anyway. Donguerra.
