Want to forward all calls from IP phone to external # without having to plug in a physical phone.

Hi everyone,

I did a search and looked through the results, but nothing seemed to mirror what I'm looking for or it did unknowingly.

My goal is to configure an IP phone ( model 1140/1150) in the CS1000 to forward all incoming calls to an external number without having to setup the physical phone and forward that way. I've read about Phantom DNs, but if I'm not misunderstanding these are for 500 type phones and wont work with virtuals.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Build the number out on a phantom TN and program FTR DCFW 7 XXX-XXXX

Build a ACD in LD 23 and night call forward it. No need to configure a phantom loop.

Either way works. If you have to do a annual inventory, then phantoms are nice because they show up in the DNB.
