Want to eliminate ISDN from local service provider and config through our PBX due to multiple location requirements.

We currently have a TN2198 ISDN BRI 2 Wire card. I cannot find any info on config and wiring. Is this the right card?

Can some assist on config and wiring.

Thanx

Steve

from the 110 block is uses the green & orange.

you program them as a data module:
Data Extension: 2609 Name:
Type: wcbri COS: 1
Port: 01C1607 COR: 7 Multimedia? n
TN: 1

ABBREVIATED DIALING
List1:

SPECIAL DIALING OPTION:

CIRCUIT SWITCHED DATA ATTRIBUTES
Default Duplex: full Default Mode: sync Default Speed: 64000

DATA MODULE CAPABILITIES
Default ITC: restricted Default Data Application: M2_A

Page 2:
BRI LINK/MAINTENANCE PARAMETERS

XID? n Fixed TEI? n
Country Protocol: 1 Endpt Init? y SPID: XXXXXX2609 Endpt ID: 01

then program another the same except on page 2 the endpoint id would be 02

What type of circuit board is in slot 01c16?

The 2198 is single pair ISDN, so you'll need an NT-1...

Thanks,

You are better off using TN568B. You can pick them up used for like $200 and you wont need an NT1.
