Hi All. I have a question for a BC10 MD110.

My director and his staff (CAT1) have several privileges (like TCD etc) on their own numbers. However they are mobile in the company.

Is it possible to give them some sort of code with witch they can use their privileges (described in CAT1) on any phone in the company (CAT X).

NB all the phones are analogue (ELU29 like).

kind regards CCOMMS

AUCOI:CILCOD=XXXX,AUTH=YYYYYY,CAT=1,CHECK=NO;

CILCODE = the directory number
AUTH = the PIN number

Thank you guys. I am reading the ALEX right now on the subject authority codes.

I think i can work it out now. However I dont know why I have to iput a directorynumber. For this is allways a diffirent one. (wandering director so....)

But thanks anyway for pointing me in the right direction.

Kind regards
ccomms

DIR parameter is for REGIONAL authority code, what you need is a CENTRAL authority code and that is exactly what Monrovia showed you.

Hi all.

Tried it this morning, couldn't get it to work.

AUCOI:CILCOD=55555,AUTH=123456,CAT=1,CHECK=NO;

the md110 says 'accepted'. However when I dial 123456 on a test phone I get no joy.

Do I have to (somehow) NANSI this authority code?

Kind regards, ccomms

there is a format to make call using authorization code

*72*123456# external dest + external no.

123456 - assuming as your auth code.

Also you need to make this authorization code to abbreviated number as

AUCOI:ABB=xxxx,TRA=A72A123456B,CLASS=1;

So whereever you go, if that extension has CAT 1,you can make the call. There, you have to dial, this abbreviation code as well as the external number

HEY!!!!!!

Works like a charm Monrovia! even the ADCOI command works.

i Didn't know about the *72* part.

Thank you very much!

Oops sorry, I type there wrong - AUCOI ;) it is ADCOI :D

you welcome ccomms
