WAN setup using Ethernet point-to-point circuits

Hi, we are setting up a new WAN between 4 sites on L3 switches (to replace the current managed MPLS setup)
Sites are A, B, C and D
The circuits from the provider are Ethernet point-to-point
site A is primary
site B is secondary and DR
site C and D are other offices

2 x 1Gbps
A <---------------> B for WAN and SAN replication

100Mbps WAN primary
C <--------------> A
100Mbps WAN secondary
C <--------------> B

100Mbps WAN primary
D <--------------> A
100Mbps WAN secondary
D <--------------> B

I was thinking about setting up L3 vlans on each link, each using a different vlan and /30 subnet
We will only be using static routing
Any comments on the setup or advice would be welcome

If you're using /30 subnet on each link, then each link is a routed link and therefore VLANs do not come into it.

You may still have multiple VLANs on each site if you have VOICE/etc..., those VLANs would have their default gateway on a Layer3 switch or on the local WAN router.

Your other option would be to use the links as Layer2 links and put each site on its own VLAN(s) and home them all back at HQ.
I doubt the second option would be a good idea, but you'll need to tbe the judge of that, based on what kind of use you have for the network.

When you mean WAN Ethernet are you talking about a Metro-E wan link?
