I am brand new to Bryce (5) and I'm attempting to follow Peter Sharp's tutorial "Streaming Light Rays Room Construction" however, I can't seem to get my walls moved to the far ends of the scene without them floating off the floor. If I use the down arrow to "land" the object, it jumps into the foreground when it lands.

I'm sure there is some little thing I've overlooked and would certainly appreciate any assistance with this.

Thanks ever so much! :)

Helen

You are in for an adventure. Bryce is awsome!.

That being said, here is something that you may find useful. Use the row of number keys across the top of the keyboard to change views.
1, 2, 3, 4, ~ these will change the various views and allow easier placement of objects. The "~" returns you to the camera view.

Thank you for the information, rwam ... I'll get in there and have a look around from all angles... ;)
