Dears,

I have 4 wall dispalys, one as a master and the other three are slaves, the master and two of the slaves are working fine even the third is working , I mean i can see the messages I configured , but the background of the third slave wall display is always lighting(green),so the back ground is green lighted, while the other three have dark background(which is good for the messages to be clear when prompted). did any one face this before?
Is there any dipswitch to modify the lighting background to be dark background.

It sounds more like a faulty wallboard. I've never seen a wallboard with the option for having an always lit background.

Which make and model is it?

I agree

I have never seen this sort of fault on a spectrum wall board, have you tried making it the master temporalry in order to see if this has cleared the fault, if it come up with the green background its safe to assume that there is a hardware fault with the board

Regards

Dave
