Wake up calls set-up at Opera end with interface with Mitel 3300 MXe 111, traces from Opera shows that the wake-up call rang and rang-out but never rang on the Guest room extension. It there anything I need to do at the Mitel 3300 end for the wake-up call to ring-out.

Not clear on the situation. When you say the traces show the opera wake up call rang and rang-out what is that? Are you using the Opera to set a wakeup on the 3300? Does the 3300 show that it is accpeting wakeups?

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

The Wake-up calls were set-up as Guest checked-in from Opera system at front Desk.from maintenance command= Logs read hotel wake-up call, will I be able to trace the wake-up calls?

Opera would not be able to see if calls rang at the extension. They do not have that level of interface with the Mitel 3300. Maybe if a 3rd party voicemail/interface system was used, like Tiger Pro then Tiger would be able to see this but not Opera. They do not directly interface to a mitel 3300 always via a middle ware server (Tiger, SDD etc). You need to clarify your set up and then look further.

Also, have you made sure the phone in the room is working and that the ringer is not turned down? What happens if you call the room internally? does it ring?

There is Tiger pro between both Mitel 3300 and the Opera, for the viewing the trace. Actually, what my client have presently is that all the wake-up calls are set-up from the Mitel 3300 MXe and it is working perfectly. But the wake-up call menu in Tiger pro is broadening(has more features which made my client decide to use that of the Tiger Pro. Tiger remotely did the programming ,Wake-up calls set through Opera and they want to test and confirm that their programming was in order. Please remember the existing wake-up call set still runing through the Mitel 3300. Can this affect the set-up from Opera not to ring at guest room extension.

When you run PMS Trace Enable can you see it been set ok .Also does it work if you set it using a PMS simulator .

You need to speak to Tiger, if they also provide voicemail with the PMS interface then they make wake up calls from the voicemail ports and not via the system. It may be the voicemail port they use for wake up calls is faulty. You also need t make sure that the wake up message they get from Opera is the correct format. Tiger should be able to tell you this.

If no voicemail on Tiger then they will relay a wake up message to the Mitel system. Again they need to check the format of this to ensure this is correct

Agree with Bobcheese. To go to your original question about what you need to do. You need to setup integration between your PMS and the Mitel. Older 3300 software needed a PMS license not sure of your load.
