We have a Definity G3siV9 with Hospitality. Once every two or three nights the wake up calls reset, generally leaving a bunch of angry guests with missed flights etc.. The reset generally occurs 1am to 6am. Any ideas?
Hi, do you have PMS(Property Management System) system running with interface to Definity? PMS system may reset wakeup requests. It also may occur with a checkout if someone does it from attendant console before actual guest leaving if staying was paid on previous evening. Just a guess.
If I don't mistake there is a log command you may check.
Do you have a Journal printer (serial printer) attached to the System. Printer will show all the attempts for wake up registration & cancellation. Check if the requests actually being confirmed by the guests or the system is cancelling requests. You can than look for the source of the problem.
