I just got a WiFi card for the laptop. During the installation wizard, I get the following message after browsing to the path where the driver files are (I downloaded latest version from mfgr.) "Windows was unable to locate a driver for this device."

Now, I have to assume that the drivers are good, as the drivers also came on CD with the card and I get the same message when I use those. I know it could be a bad card, but I don't think that's the problem. W98 just isn't recognizing the drivers that are right there in front of it's face. I've searched around at support.microsoft.com to no avail.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Actually it's fixed. The driver that shipped with the card, and the driver that I downloaded were both wrong. I've got the right one now. Thanks.
