I understand that W2K is now better equipped to run thin client and be more competive with citrix..Are there any drawbacks and how would I implement? Also is there a client for the macs?

Terminal Services in W2K is easy to implement - just go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components and check Terminal Services. When asked, choose Application Mode (you'll need to set a Terminal Services Licensing Server as well, for details on this, see the Microsoft website -
Citrix has many more benefits (as you'd expect since it costs more money) such as being able to just publish applications so the user doesn't need to logon to a desktop and run the program for themselves (also stops people playing around with stuff they shouldn't) and it also uses up less bandwidth than TS amongst other things, so it depends what you need.

Cheers, Antony
