Hi browolf,

Thanks for prompt reply!

Actually its totally blank blue background screen!! I waited 1/2 hours to see if it comes up with any error msg, But it didn't show any error msg. I tried F8 and boot from last good configuration and 2nd try in SAFE MODE but it does not worked!!!!

I appreciate all your help to solve this problem,
Please let me know what i need to do now.
Many thanks,

Try a Win2K repair. Boot with the Win2K installation CD, and select the repair option.

Hi,

I have Win '98 in same system(dual boot sys) so can i reinstalled or repair the W2K Pro from win 98? I tried to start with log boot event option so where i can check what is there?

Please bare me here as i'm not use to do this.

Many Thanks,

Change the Bootup device order in your CMOS to:
1) Drive A:
2) CDROM
3) Hard Drive

Insert you Windows 2000 CD, and reboot your computer. When it boots up, it will ask you to hit any key to boot from the CDROM device (hit any key to do this).

The Windows 2000 loading program should now start up. After it starts up, it will give you the option to Install Windows 2000 or Repair it. Select the Repair option. It will search to find all instances of Windows, and ask you which installation to repair. Select the one on the Windows 2000 partition (usually in the C:\WINNT directory).

Let the repair run, and hopefully when it's finished and you reboot everything works.
