Howdy,
I'm not sure if this is common knowledge, but I have been doing some research into this VX2.betterinternet/Look2Me epidemic going around and I have found some interesting info. I originally was infected with a variant of the bug and looked up who signed the .dll's ad-aware found but couldnt delete.
Appearently, the company that puts out this filth is a company called NicTech Networks based out of Minnesota. Their website (here) has a striking resemblence (notice the last 3 paragraphs) to the Look2Me site found here. It would appear to me that these "companies" are either VERY closely associated, or the same entity.
It also seems that NicTech has been getting some negative publicity over malicious spyware "removal" tools Article.
According to multiple sites I have found (1)(2) the company information is as follows:

(have not been able to 100% verify this info though)
Google Search for NicTech (all negative, I cant imagine why...)
So all I have left to say is these guys need to pay. I ask everyone's assistance in writing/emailing/calling these people in complaint. I also intend to file a complaint with the FCC. I am not sure how much good it will do, but it's better than just fighting the symptoms...
