VSE 7.0 concept of Dat Files (no push just pull??)

Hi,

i installed Client with VSE 7.0 and VSE 7.1 with the epo Server. But im missing a major thing.

Since Epo-Server its the concept to manage all Client on one Central Unit, right?

But i didnt find teh Settings to Manage the Update of Dat Files for VSE 7.0 and 7.1 from the central EPO-Server. Is this right or am i just blind?

When its right that there is no way to manage the DAT -Update for VSE 7.0 and 7.1 the whole Concept sucks, right?

Please say that im wrong and blind. *rolleyes*

In order for you to update VSE7 or VSE7.1 you actually need to schedule an ePo Agent update. Because VSE7 and the ePo Agent use the same update framework (McAfee Common Framework), updating the Agent will update VSE7.
To do this create a new task in the directory and then choose ePolicy Orchestrator Agent update, and schedule a time for the update.
