I am new to VB and to Visual Studio .NET. I am taking a book course and so far I have created about 6 test apps. Because of work I have been out of studying for a couple of weeks. Tonight I tried to open existing projects from the Start screen. When I do the app flickers like it's going to open the project but never does. I then drilled down through explorer to the folder and tried to open the project...same results. What is going on? I can't imagine that the project has expired.

sometimes the apps do open but it doessnt show any of the classes or forms open then you just go to the solution explorer on the right side of the screen (normally) and doubleclick on one of the files you want to open.

Thanks Chrissie! That was it. I guess it is one of the 1st of many things I will need to learn about the app.
