Hi all
Please can anyone advise me about VPN. I work from home for a large company in the UK. I have a home desktop pc and a work lap top. When i am useing the work lap top i have to log in etc using vpn. My question is i have connected my home pc to the wireless router via a ethernet cable and now i do not have to log in at all. Does that mean the surfing etc i do on the internet is NOT going through the works server and just through the internet provider ?.
Many thanks

So when you VPN from home, you don't have to log into the VPN at all??? Wow...is this what you are saying? If so, are you using Windows built-in VPN client?

I think i am useing windows VPN. However not having to sign in through the router which is connected to my home pc via ethernet cable. I just open I.Explorer and away I go ... so any ideas if this is being routed through work server or just through the I.S.P.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Who supplied your home router, your company or your Internet service provider?

Thanks for the reply Cricket. The router was supplied by the company as was the laptop.
