Hi,

I installed the specific firmware in the use of the mode VPN on a post 4610 and I try to connect it to my server S8720 via a firewall FORTIGATE but unsuccessfully.
I have three errors after every attempt of connection:

1er : IKE Phase 1 no response
Error code 3997700:0
Module : IKECFG:321

2e : IKE Phase 1 send notify
Error code 3997698:14
Module : NOTIFY:527

3e : IKE Phase 1 no response
Error code 3997698:0
Module : IKMPD:164

What is what somebody can say myself to what correspond these code errors.
Thank you

Est ce que quelqu'un sait à quoi correspond ces erreurs codes.
Merci d'avance....

Fortigate is not a supported firewall for VPN Hard Phones.

Cisco Pix
Cisco VPN Concentrator
Juniper SSG
Avaya SG2XX
Nortel
Checkpointe

I believe those are the only supported appliances that can build the IPsec tunnel for the phone.

I have a VPN phone at my house and it connects to our Cisco concentrator and works great.

The Radio Revolution has begun....

You can connect the VPNRemote phone to any VPN router that supports IPsec using the genereic PSK profile on the phone.

I have this running on an Linksys.

Can't tell exactly what causes those messages though.

would you mind expanding with some detail on how you got it to work with a linksys? did you document this procedure? i would love to see this work on a cheap ipsec device. thanks
