VPN: Win2000 client / NT4.0 Server

I'm wondering why I wouldn't be able to connect to a NT4.0 Server via a PPTP VPN connection.

I create a new VPN connection and it dials then immediatly verified username/password. It sits here for approx 1 min then comes up with the error:

Disconnected: Error 721: the remote computer is not responding.

I have another Win2000 box that successfully conects to this server so I know it's something in mine.

Your assistance would be GREATLY appriciated.

The Event Log on the PPTP server might provide some better insight than the 721 error.

I'll look at the logs while I'm onsite tommorrow. I'll let you know what I find.

Logs probably won't show much until you turn logging on.

Don't leave it on long, the file can get huge.
