I have a PIX 501 that I have no experience with. I want to set up a VPN tunnel to allow access from a remote client to a server. Is there a VPN tunnel 101 article anywhere?

The PIX is behind a 1700 series router managed by SBC. They do not have anything to do with the PIX, so I am left on my own.

Thanks,

Larry S.

Larry-

Do you have the Cisco Secure VPN Client? If not I can provide a sample config for PPTP configuration via a windows platform.

Let me know

Frank

Hi Frank,

The enduser is in Houston and has the VPN Client software. But, I would be interested in the windows client config because there is another support agent in San Antonio that does not have the client software.

THanks,

Larry S.
