Hello,
I have read similiar topics here, but no one them would carry a solution for my problem. That would be great If somebody could tell me what the problem is?

I have Win2k server behind Router. I have TCP 1723 mapped to VPN server and protocol 47 enable on the router too.

I can connect to VPN server, but I can not ping any computer on the local network or browse any resources.
I use IP, not even talking about DNS resolusion now.

I have 255.255.255.0 subnet on my local network.
After VPN connection I get 255.255.255.255 for the client. ( not sure if it's correct or not and how to change it)

I guess there's a routing problem. What am I missing? Thanks!

Give the connecting clients a different subnet.

ie - standard dhcp - 192.168.0.x/24
connecting client - 192.168.1.x24

last time i looked vpn needed udp 500(isakmp); ports 50,51

Where exactly could I set VPN IP assignment. Looks like they get it from main DHCP. Are you sure that those ports are also required? Thanks
