Do anyone know if there is a way to automatically start a VPN client at boot up?

I have a client machine that I put on the VPN (from client site) and then access it through PCAnywhere from home and I would like to reboot the machine and still be able to access it. I know PCAnywhere has an option to start at boot up, but does (any) VPN client offer this feature?

All solutions and ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Oh! By the way I'm using Server 2003 and client machine is Windows 2000 Pro. We're utilizing a PPTP VPN connection. Thanks!

Zilantyas,

I'm not sure how you could make this happen with "PPTP" given that not only would the machine neet to start the VPN client, but would also have to enter the username/password/domain name. Why not use an IPSec client on the machine that would establish IP connectivity automatically at boot. I think SSH Sentinel will autostart.

Thanks gacollier!

I'll give that a try and will let you know my outcome! I'm not too familiar with the IPSec settings but I'll play with them a bit and see if I can make something happen.
